Car history: |
1969 Corvette red convertible matching numbers with 390 hp 427, four speed, new black soft top, nice black vinyl hard top, beautiful paint, chrome and interior. It has power windows, power steering, power brakes and leather seats. Car needs absolutely nothing. The car has a stereo cassette AM/FM radio however I have the original radio and original rally wheel center hub caps. Engine has approximately 5K miles since it was totally redone by a fabulous machine shop in 2003. During the engine rebuild process the block was decked which resulted in the numbers being machined off of the front side of the block. I do however have a signed and notarized affidavit by the owner and the machine shop stating the original number (19S711803) and that it is factory correct with numbers matching (rear block # T1218LM). I'm not sure if the side pipes were original factory optioned however I have reason to believe they were. The current side pipe covers are the fiberglass replacement units. The car is not a trailer queen/show car however you will be hard pressed to find a driver in better overall condition. The paint is bright and shinny with NO scratches even though it is 7 years old (2004). I keep the car stored in a climate controlled basement. I don't have all of the receipts for the frame-on restoration but I do have $22,000 worth filed by date as well as by alphabetical part name. This of course does not include the original cost of the car nor most of the labor. Call me on my cell at: 423-284-4050 with questions. You will not be disappointed.
